This tablecloth is for the wine lover who likes to enjoy the wines of southern Burgundy and particularly the majestic white Burgundy wines that come from this region. If your taste buds are excited by names such as Bâtard-Montrachet, Les Perrières and La Truffière, then this is the tablecloth for you. The map was meticulously drawn by the renowned cartographer Sylvain Pitiot and illustrates all of the renowned Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in detail, as well as the towns/municipalities that fall within and are classified by the French AOC certification. The colours on the map refer to the quality classification of the respective vineyards and are explained in the key to the signs on the tablecloth. The Burgundy region is also one of the most expensive agricultural lands in the world.
The map has been designed and printed to fit the centre of the table so that the entire map is visible. The wine tablecloths were developed in collaboration with Marie Von Ahm, who is a wine expert and consultant for a large number of international wine brands. The tablecloth is jacquard woven in Egyptian cotton and subsequently digitally printed and surface treated to withstand dirt and liquids.
