Good advice
Unfold product before washing and avoid overfilling the washing machine.
Stretch the product while wet.
We recommend line-drying, it gives a smoother result and it is better for the environment.
Always observe the washing instructions provided on the product. Wash at 60°C opens the cotton yarns and it becomes clean. Many people think that washing the tablecloth at 40 °C will make the product last longer, but the products are made for high temperature.
Choose tablecloth size: We recommend 20 to 25 cm drop to get the most beautiful look. For example if you have a table of 1 x 2 m vi recommend that the size of the tablecloth is 140 x 240 cm.
For a smoother tablecloth, we recommend washing it at a low spin speed – max. 600-800 rpm. Then hang the tablecloth to drip dry and iron while still damp.
Description
Design: Bodil Bødtker-Næss
The CHRISTMAS TABLECLOTH is a nostalgic signature design in the damask collection, and its iconic motif symbolises Christmas as the season of goodwill. An exclusive tablecloth that many grow up with and pass on to the next generation.
In white, the iconic pattern emerges against a beautiful snow-white background, making the tablecloth a timeless element of a complete table setting. An elegant canvas that pairs perfectly with ornaments in a variety of colours or can be kept utterly classic and minimalist in style.
The tablecloth’s motif was designed by Bodil Bødtker-Næss, who was in the inner circle of textile artists around Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s and who was also the artist responsible for the classic Easter design from the same period. The braided Christmas hearts and stylised spruce twigs have represented the quintessence of Christmas spirit for more than 40 years, and the design is an indispensable part of Christmas in many homes.
