Classic tea towel in a beautiful grey and a timeless striped design sourced from the archives. The linen-cotton blend offers excellent absorbency, which is indispensable in the kitchen.
With the colour Flint Grey, a completely classic look has been achieved thanks to the slender stripes in dark grey, black and white. The tea towel is just as practical as it is elegant in everything from the all-wood kitchen to the more minimalist kitchen universe. This is a colour choice which pleases the eye across trends.
The COMET design was created in 1979 by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who in addition to being at the forefront of Georg Jensen Damask for many years was also a driving force in design development. The basic element of the graphic pattern is a classic stripe, which forms the common thread through the damask collection and which exists in a variety of interpretations. Here it appears in a version where the vertical black and white stripes vary in width, an effect that combines with the weave to lend a beautiful dynamic to the design.
