Design Jette Nevers

This is a range of sophisticated baby and junior bed linen with a classic, luxurious expression. Pure everyday luxury for the young ones. The simple, geometric shapes and uniformity of Facet’s pattern create a singular harmony and calm and the Egyptian cotton is soft and pleasant on sensitive skin.

FACET was designed in the 1980s by textile artist Jette Nevers, who has also designed several other geometrical textile patterns for Georg Jensen Damask. With her insight in weaving techniques, she has created a celebrated design in which the damask weave has been used to create an elegant show of shadows in the facet pattern.

The wonderful Powder Blue colour wraps baby and junior in heavenly colours. The soft, subdued shades of blue add new life and a gentle Scandinavian feel to the bedroom. The expression is completed by a Georg Jensen Damask baby and junior sheet in a solid canvas weave.

The FACET design is also available for adults.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
