Design: Jette Nevers

This is a range of sophisticated bed linen with a classic, luxurious expression. The simple, geometric shapes and uniformity of the facet design create a singular harmony and calm that together with the exclusive quality make it pure self-indulgence.

FACET was designed in the 1980s by textile artist Jette Nevers, who has also designed several other geometrical textile patterns for Georg Jensen Damask. With her insight in weaving techniques, she has created a celebrated design in which the damask weave has been used to create an elegant show of shadows in the facet design.

The Powder Blue colour wraps the geometrical expression in the colour of the sky. The soft, subdued shades of blue add new life and a gentle Scandinavian feel to the bedroom. The expression is completed by a Georg Jensen Damask sheet in a solid canvas weave.

NOTICE! Duvet- and pillow case is bought separately by choosing the wanted sizes.

About Bed Linen:
  • 100% combed Egyptian cotton

  • Wash at 60 °C. White damask products can be washed at 95 °C.

Good advice
  • Unfold product before washing and avoid overfilling the washing machine.

  • You can tumble dry the  product, but we recommend line-drying, it gives a smoother result and it is better for the environment.

  • The first times you wash your bed linen it will crinkle a bit, but it will straighten out gradually the more you use it.

  • If you want a smooth and glossy look, ironing is recommended.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
