Design Bent Georg Jensen

Exquisite bedspread with a soft, luxurious expression in top-quality 100% cotton. On the bed, the bedspread lies firm and heavy, adding an inviting feel as well as an air of luxury, harmony and calm.

The beautiful geometric facet design stands out in a classic colour combination of off-white and matt black, a simple and elegant look that is perfect for the bedroom, whether in a summerhouse in the country or a city flat.

FACET was designed during the 1980s by textile artist Jette Nevers, who has created several geometric textile designs for Georg Jensen Damask. With her grasp of weaving techniques she has created a sought-after design that is known and loved from the bed linen of the same name. In this new interpretation the facet pattern is the key design element in the bedspread, where it is scaled up in a beautiful meeting of two contrasting colours.

Although the FACET bedspread plays the lead role during the day, it is an obvious choice to combine it with classic bed linen, especially the monochrome FACET design featuring the original facet pattern.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
