Design: Georg Jensen Damask

Exclusive dark blue sheet for double box spring mattresses in 100% plain weave cotton. Soft and comfortable everyday luxury to aid a good night’s sleep. This is a fitted sheet with elasticated corners and always lies neatly and smoothly on a box spring mattress. The fit is suitable for a height of 25 cm.

A dark blue sheet unites functionality and aesthetics. The classic navy blue creates both tranquillity and depth in the bedroom and is a timeless choice for a box spring mattress. The colour matches the YPSILON and ENGESVIK by hand bed linen in Navy Blazer and the OLDER bed linen in Navy and Wine. The dark blue sheet also contrasts beautifully with the classic white designs in our collection, including NORTHERN LIGHT.

For centuries, quality and functionality have been the core values of Georg Jensen Damask. The canvas weaving ensures a high degree of durability, and we only use cotton yarns of the finest quality. The yarn is dyed prior to the actual weaving in order to achieve optimal colour fastness, so that the sheet will still look beautiful on a box spring mattress, even after many washes.

The fitted sheet in dark blue is also available for single box spring mattresses and a height of 35 cm. In addition, envelope sheets for mattress toppers and flat sheets are available in several standard sizes in the same high quality.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
