Green is in the air

Tables will be dressed in the most beautiful classic Dusty Green and damask weaved ARNE JACOBSEN tablecloth in 100% cotton. Not only does ARNE JACOBSEN tablecloth feature a lovely graphic pattern, it also features a functional coating allowing the entire family to gather around the table day after day knowing that the textile will look just as great the day after.

Georg Jensen Damask made more green choices this spring. For the kitchen, the company offers rustique HERRINGBONE placemats in Jade Green and Black in 100% cotton featuring a chequered pattern in either two shades of Jade Green or in Black and beige.
The Jade Green COLOURBLOCK teatowel in 50% cotton and 50% linen fits the EGYPT kitchen towels 100% cotton perfectly and will compete to get the prominent space on the kitchen’s rails. Finally, the LINEN cloth in 100% linen, also in Jade Green, adds itself to the spring greenery collection.
The bathroom will also be wrapped in green through a thick, soft and comfortable DAMASK terry 100% Egyptian Cotton towel with a matching facecloth. All bathroom items come in the Aqua colour.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
