Design Bent Georg Jensen

A graphic bedspread based on a proud design tradition. The combination of cotton and viscose ensures a comfortable, soft quality and makes the pattern appear both lively and elegant. The bedspread contributes to a feeling of luxury in the bedroom and gives the bed an attractive appearance during the daytime.

The KUBUS design was created by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who as well as being at the forefront of Georg Jensen Damask for many years, was also a driving force in design development. The geometric pattern consists of a combination of zigzag rows and goose-eye windows that create depth and dynamism. The design has previously been used for our collection of tablecloths but has now been given a new life as a pillow and is also available for bedspreads.

The Navy Blazer colour gives the bedspread a noble appearance which allows it to seamlessly blend with the rest of the décor. The ambiance is completed with KUBUS pillows in Navy Blazer or in a different colour for a stylish contrast.

About KUBUS bedspreads and pillows:
  • Woven in 60% cotton and 40% viscose.

  • Dry cleaned or washed separately at 40°C.

Good advice
  • We recommend that you fold out the product completely before washing and avoid overfilling the machine. The product can be lightly ironed after washing.

  • We recommend that both pillows and bedspreads be hung up to dry.

  • We recommend that you hang bedspreads that are heavy to dry on a wide drying rack or pole. This helps to prevent creasing.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
