Diana Holstein

Diana Holstein (born 1964) is a trained graphic designer from the School of Arts and Crafts. She has, among other things, worked as a designer for Tiffany & Co., Ralph Lauren in New York and Royal Copenhagen and Georg Jensen in Denmark.
Diana Holstein upgraded her skills as jewellery designer from the Institute of Noble Metal in 2006. Since 2006 Hanan Emquies and Diana Holstein have been an item. Hanan Emquies is a trained jewellery designer. In 2007 the couple established the company Emquies-Holstein including a shop and a workshop in the inner Copenhagen.
Diana Holstein is one of the most skilled designers in Denmark and she has on several occasions created beautiful designs for Georg Jensen Damask. Most notably, Diana Holstein has collaborated with Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden to create a unique damask tablecloth for the World Scout Foundation. In her work for Georg Jensen Damask, Diana has been inspired by the old woodturning techniques, where decoration is reduced to stripes and squares – and she has created timeless design classics such as Square, Plaza and Tangent.
Diana Holstein has created designs such as Queen Silvia’s Easter tablecloth, the Castellaris tablecloth, Tangent bed linen and the World Scout tablecloth for Georg Jensen Damask.
