Good advice
Unfold product before washing and avoid overfilling the washing machine.
Stretch the product while wet.
We recommend line-drying, it gives a smoother result and it is better for the environment.
Always observe the washing instructions provided on the product. Wash at 60°C opens the cotton yarns and it becomes clean. Many people think that washing the tablecloth at 40 °C will make the product last longer, but the products are made for high temperature.
Choose tablecloth size: We recommend 20 to 25 cm drop to get the most beautiful look. For example if you have a table of 1 x 2 m vi recommend that the size of the tablecloth is 140 x 240 cm.
For a smoother tablecloth, we recommend washing it at a low spin speed – max. 600-800 rpm. Then hang the tablecloth to drip dry and iron while still damp.
Description
Design Jette Nevers
A refined damask tablecloth that invites winter to sit down at the table in the shape of finely stylised snowflakes. The interpretation of the snowflake’s geometry is so strict however, that the tablecloth can also be used at other times of the year, where this beautiful tablecloth enhances both the table covering and atmosphere.
Textile artist Jette Nevers, who has also designed several other geometrical textile patterns for Georg Jensen Damask, designed the SNOWFLAKES tablecloth. Inspired by the purity of the snowflake and the tranquil existence of the world, she has created a design that creates calm on the table through its simplicity and rigorous expression.
The intense depth of the Dark Blue colour enhances the uncluttered design and allows the snowflakes to shine forth like stars in the evening sky. This is a distinguished and exclusive damask tablecloth that doesn’t require a specific style of décor, but is completed by laying the table with accessories according to mood, season and meal.
The SNOWFLAKES design is also available as table runners and placemats. Matching napkins woven in linen complete the expression.
