SQUARE Bath Towels

EUR 47.00
   In stock
This luxurious, heavy bath towel in finest 100% Egyptian terry fabric creates a touch of luxury in the bathroom. SQUARE is distinguished by its graphic design and unique drying capacity, which is essential for a sense of everyday well-being and self-indulgence.

The design was created in 1970 by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who as well as being at the forefront of Georg Jensen Damask for many years, was also a driving force in design development. The simple design with its distinctive border is now back in the damask collection. Its graphic simplicity exudes a timeless elegance that also harmonises beautifully with the lifestyle of today.

This attractive, slate grey towel is made of strong damask terry fabric of the softest kind and only improves with use. As a special detail, the designer towel is also available in a personal edition with the name of your choice.

About Damask Terry:
  • 100% Egyptian cotton - double-twined and combed

  • Wash at 60 °C. White damask products can be washed at 95ºC.

Good advice
  • We recommend soaking the terry towels in cold water for approx. 1 hour and then washing. Shrinkage will make the loops firm – and minimize the risk of thread pullout.

  • If you experience thread pullout, you just snip of the thread.

  • Wishing soft towels, tumble drying is recommended.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
