Design Georg Jensen Damask

Exclusive towel in a dusty army green colour, made from 100% Egyptian high-quality terry fabric, which ensure well-being for body and soul.  The towel is characterised by its unique drying capacity which is essential for the feeling of wellness and self-indulgence in everyday life. The towel is decorated with a woven logo as a seal of approval.

The army green colour is modern and classic at the same time. Dusty army green brings a wonderfully saturated colour as a contrast to bright surroundings. It is also elegant in combination with green plants. The expression can be toned up or down whether you swear by dark colours or want to create a more rustic look. This gorgeous thick towel in standard size is essential and only improves with use.

The DAMASK TERRY range is created by our own design team, with a focus on functionality, quality and beauty. These are characteristics and values that have been the trademarks of Georg Jensen Damask for centuries. The high-quality terry, the colour fastness and the simple design make the heavy terry one of the softest kinds – a beloved classic, which also is available as a towel, bath towel, beach towel and facecloth.

The size of the Terry towel is 50 x 100 cm.

About Damask

Georg Jensen Damask is a culture bearer within Danish design tradition as well as the history of craft. Our history is built on proud weaving traditions since 1756, but members of the family behind Georg Jensen Damask have been weavers all the way back to the 1500s.  The weaving is based on a classic design with a focus on functionality and quality both back then and today.

Throughout times we have worked together with some of the most acknowledged weavers, designers and architects, for example Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz, Andreas Engesvik, Margrethe Odgaard and Nanna Ditzel. Furthermore, we have been involved in several projects with the Royal Danish Court and we are proud to call ourselves Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
