Andreas Engesvik (born 1970) began his studies at the University of Bergen, from where he has a BFA in Art History. He continued his studies at the National College of Art and Design, in Bergen.

Arne Emil Jacobsen (1902 – 1971) was a trained builder. He graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation in 1927.
At the age of 10 Bent Georg Jensen was sent to weaving school during the summer vacations and received after schooling an education as a trained textile engineer.

Jette Nevers (born 1943) graduated from the Design School Copenhagen in 1965. After her graduation, she opened her own workshop and she was known for her simple naturally coloured shawls and ponchos.
John Kristian Becker (1915 – 1986) was a Danish designer, weaver and writer – educated by Gerda Henning at Kunstværkerskolen and by Geismar, at the Danish Weaver School with a diploma in both in 1938.
Puk Lippmann trained as a weaver at the Vibeke Klint studio from 1967 to 1970. Puk Lippmann weaves craft textiles and unique products as well as she designs industrial textiles.
