1959 is a classic waffle-woven kitchen towel made from 100% cotton, designed by textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who led Georg Jensen Damask for many years. The color Dark Blue is a classic, dark shade of blue.
Designer and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen placed great emphasis on combining quality, aesthetics, function, and design in his work. The 1959 kitchen towel can therefore be used both as a dish towel and a kitchen towel and pairs well with other kitchen textiles from Georg Jensen Damask. The unique waffle weave ensures optimal absorbency.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product can be tumble dried or hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
