To mark the 35th anniversary of the Abild design, Georg Jensen Damask launches Abild as an extra large bath towel in two beautiful color combinations. Mint Green is a striped design in mint green, pink and beige.
The bath towel is woven in 100% double-twisted and combed cotton, making it soft, durable and more lustrous. The matching tote bag is woven in 100% cotton in a canvas weave and embroidered with Georg Jensen Damask’s iconic logo.
Abild is created by weaver and designer Bent Georg Jensen, who headed Georg Jensen Damask for many years and was a driving force in the design development.
Wash & care
Bath Towel:
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend that you unfold it completely, soak it in cold water for about 1 hour and wash it at 60°C. This will ensure the loops expand and thus minimise the risk of snagging.
- If a thread begins to pull or snag, simply remove the thread with a pair of scissors. The weave is so tight that it will not unravel, but will hold by itself.
- We recommend tumble drying for soft, fluffy towels. Avoid overfilling the washing machine and tumble dryer to allow the product to move freely and shed excess fibres.
Tote Bag:
- Wash at 60°C.
- The product is tumble dryer safe.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
