ABILD

This is a classic tea towel with harmonic stripes as its bearing design element. Woven from a strong linen and cotton combination providing optimal drying capacity.

The Abild design was created by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who as well as being at the forefront of Georg Jensen Damask for many years, was also a driving force in design development. The vertical, striped pattern is a design icon within the damask collection. The design is beautiful in itself but also when combined with other patterns or plain-coloured tea towels.

Shades of blue and greyish brown have been chosen for the Dark Blue colour, which almost turn into denim, giving a subdued, rustic expression. This tea towel fits just as nicely in the country kitchen as it does in the modern kitchen.
