The Banquet tea towel is a minimalistic and elegant tea towel with woven motifs inspired by the Renaissance feast. Banquet is a highly absorbent jacquard-weave tea towel made in 50% cotton and 50% linen and is available in the colour Pale Yellow.
The Banquet tea towels were inspired by the Renaissance feast and a damask tablecloth from the textile collection at Rosenborg Castle. The tea towel features an orderly jumble of woven knife, fork, fruit, fish, pheasant and confectionery motifs. The range also includes a beautiful damask-weave tablecloth with a similar motif and a woven historical reference in the form of King Christian IV’s monogram, as well as cloth napkins with an embroidered motif and a small loop to hang the napkin on the corner of the chair back.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
