Description

The Stripe 1979 towel in the colour Blue Hour is blue with beige pinstripes and woven in soft terry from 100% double-twisted, combed cotton with a lustrous surface and high absorbency.

The pinstriped design is drawn from the Georg Jensen Damask archive and is a further development of the terry series Venus and Mars, designed by Bent Georg Jensen in 1979.

Wash & care

Wash at 60°C.
When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible. White terry towel products can be washed at temperatures of up to 95°C.
Before using the product for the first time, we recommend that you unfold it completely, soak it in cold water for about 1 hour and wash it at 60°C. This will ensure the loops expand and thus minimise the risk of snagging.
If a thread begins to pull or snag, simply remove the thread with a pair of scissors. The weave is so tight that it will not unravel, but will hold by itself.
We recommend tumble drying for soft, fluffy towels. Avoid overfilling the washing machine and tumble dryer to allow the product to move freely and shed excess fibres.
