The Supima Percale bed linen is woven from Supima cotton, the finest quality within Pima cotton, classified as Superior Pima. Supima accounts for only around one per cent of the world’s total cotton production and is characterised by its exceptionally long and supple fibres. The long fibres are spun into a strong and soft yarn which, together with the fine percale weave, creates an exceptionally soft and smooth surface while keeping the bed linen light and breathable.
The hooded terry towel has a simple expression with Georg Jensen Damask’s iconic weaver bird woven into the hood as an elegant detail. The towel is jacquard woven from 100% cotton with loops made from double-twisted and combed yarns, making it soft and lustrous.
The duvet and pillow are filled with soft Class 1 duck down and feature a satin-woven casing made from 100% cotton. The light and breathable down can absorb excess body heat, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the night.
The duvet and pillow are certified by Downpass, Oeko-Tex and Nomite. Downpass ensures that the down has been collected in an ethically responsible manner with full traceability, while Oeko-Tex means that they are free from harmful substances. The Nomite certification makes the duvet and pillow suitable for people with house dust mite allergies, as mites cannot penetrate the finely woven casing.
Wash & care
Bedding and sheet:
- Wash at 60°C.
- We recommend non-bleach detergent for coloured textiles to preserve the colour of the product as much as possible.
- Unfold the product completely before washing and avoid overloading the washing machine. The product should be gently stretched after washing.
- The bed linen will crease less if you spin at low speed – max. 600–800 rpm – and hang it up to dry immediately.
- The fabric can be tumble dried, but we recommend hang drying.
- The first times you wash the bedding and the sheet, you may find that it creases. It becomes smoother once in use and the fibres have been processed.
- For a smooth, shiny look, we recommend that you iron the bed linen while it is still damp.
Hooded Towel for children:
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend that you unfold it completely, soak it in cold water for about 1 hour and wash it at 60°C. This will ensure the loops expand and thus minimise the risk of snagging.
- If a thread begins to pull or snag, simply remove the thread with a pair of scissors. The weave is so tight that it will not unravel, but will hold by itself.
- We recommend tumble drying for soft, fluffy towels. Avoid overfilling the washing machine and tumble dryer to allow the product to shed any excess fibres.
Duck down duvet and ‑pillow:
- Wash at 60°C.
- The product must be tumble‑dried.
- The product must be washed and dried in machines with a capacity of at least 7 kg.
- The product can be aired and brushed, but must not be beaten or vacuumed.
- For down products, the Down Detergent laundry detergent is recommended to protect the down from drying out.
