<p><strong>At Georg Jensen Damask, we have our own sewing workshop where we sew textiles in custom sizes. If you need a longer tablecloth, we’re more than happy to thread our needles.</strong></p>

<p><em><strong>You can expect up to two weeks of delivery time for special orders.</strong></em></p>

<p>Not all tables are the same and have standard sizes. If our collection does not contain the measurements you require, we can offer custom sewing to meet your individual needs. For all custom orders, you pay for the fabric and a fixed price for the seamstress' time.</p>

<p><strong>Custom length tablecloths</strong></p>
<p>If you have a table with a length that does not match a tablecloth in our standard collection, we have almost all of our designs on rolls, so we can sew the tablecloth in exactly the length you want.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Extending the width of a tablecloth</strong></p>
<p>If you need a tablecloth that is wider than 160 cm, we can extend the width of the tablecloth. This is done by cutting two lengths of damask fabric and discreetly sewing them together down the middle. You pay for the fabric and a fixed price for the seamstress’ time. Please note that we always have at least one design in the collection sold by the metre in widths of up to 210 cm. Please note that there are designs in the collection for which it is not possible to extend the width. Please contact us for more information.</p>

<p><strong>Oval tablecloths </strong></p>
<p>We can also sew tablecloths that fit certain types of oval tables. For widths of over 160 cm, we also have the option of extending the width of the tablecloth. We cut two lengths of damask fabric and discreetly sew them together down the middle.</p>

<p><strong>Round tablecloths </strong></p>
<p>We can also sew tablecloths that fit certain types of round tables. The maximum width in our standard collection is 160 cm, but widths can be extended by discreetly sewing two lengths of damask fabric together down the middle.</p>

<p>Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik is the man behind the design. The hand-drawn pattern on the tablecloth celebrates the idea of the simple life and was created in close collaboration with Georg Jensen Damask.</p>

<p>The lines are woven into the cloth with thread that is a slightly lighter shade than the blue background colour. The weaving itself is a complicated affair, as the threads must follow the uneven lines created by the pressure on the pencil. The result is a pattern of graphical ease and intrinsic humanism. This Damask tablecloth has been treated with a finish that protects it from dirt and stains.</p>
<p>The colour of Dark Blue invokes an exclusive and dramatic expression in this damask tablecloth, where noble craftsmanship and unique lines join forces in the distinguished dark blue colour tones. Napkins in contrasting colour accentuate the personal expression.</p>
