Georg Jensen Damask celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Christmas design with a sparkling touch on the iconic motif. The placemat, Christmas Rustic 50, in the Gold Red colour, is woven in delicate deep-red cotton with golden, metallic threads.
The nostalgic motif of the Christmas Rustic placemat, featuring woven Christmas hearts and stylised spruce twigs, was designed by textile artist Bodil Bødtker-Næss, who was part of the inner circle of textile artists surrounding Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- We recommend that you unfold the product fully before washing it and avoid overfilling the washing machine. After washing, gently stretch the product into shape.
- We recommend hang drying the product for a smoother result.
- We recommend that the placemats are rolled when not in use to avoid crease lines.
