Kitchen set with 2 Abild tea towels in Flint and 1 1959 kitchen towel in Light Grey.
The Abild tea towels feature classic stripes and are woven from 50% cotton and 50% linen. The 1959 kitchen towel has a simple, understated design and is woven from 100% cotton. Its durable quality means it can be used both as a kitchen towel and as a tea towel.
The Abild tea towels and the 1959 kitchen towel were designed by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who led Georg Jensen Damask for many years and was a driving force behind the design development of the period.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing. Avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
