Kitchen set with 2 Abild tea towels and 1 1959 kitchen towel in Light Grey.
The striped Abild tea towel is woven from 100 % cotton, while the 1959 kitchen towel has a simple design and is woven from a blend of cotton and linen. The sturdy quality of the 1959 kitchen towel allows it to be used both as a towel and a tea towel.
Abild and 1959 were designed by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who for many years led Georg Jensen Damask and was a driving force behind the design development of that time. He placed great emphasis on combining quality, aesthetics, functionality and design in his work.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing. Avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
