The striped Abild tea towel is a timeless classic in the Georg Jensen Damask collection. Designed by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, Abild elegantly unites quality, functionality, and design. Woven from a blend of 50% linen and 50% cotton, it offers optimal absorbency. The clear blue-green color, Deep Glass, is inspired by the hue of raw glass.
The Abild tea towel is available in a variety of colors, making it equally stunning on its own or paired with other tea towels and kitchen towels.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
