The striped Abild tea towel is a classic in the Georg Jensen Damask collection. The towel is woven from a combination of 50% linen and 50% cotton, providing optimal drying properties. The Abild tea towel is available in a range of colours and looks beautiful both on its own and paired with other towels and kitchen textiles. The colour Carmine Red is a deep, distinguished red with a cool undertone.
Abild was designed by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who placed great emphasis on combining quality, aesthetics, functionality and design in his work.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
