The light blue Northern Light bed linen set for children is damask-woven bed linen in 100% double-twisted combed cotton. The delicate pattern is an iconic design in the Georg Jensen Damask collection, designed by Bent Georg Jensen in 1991. Light Blue is a classic favourite for the nursery.
As well as the Northern Light bed linen set, designer, weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen was also behind some of Georg Jensen Damask’s most important classics such as the Abild tea towel. He played a crucial role in Georg Jensen Damask’s transformation from a village weaving mill to a design company in the post-World War II era and took pride in combining function, quality and aesthetics. The Northern Light design is also available as a bed linen set for adults, for both single and double duvets. You can also get separate pillowcases.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible. White bed linen can be washed at 95°C.
- We recommend that you unfold the product fully before washing it and avoid overfilling the washing machine. After washing, gently stretch the product into shape.
- The bed linen can be tumble dried, but we recommend hang drying for a smoother result.
- You may find that your bed linen has some creases the first few times you wash it, but over time it will become smoother with use.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
