Snefnug is a timeless and beautiful damask tablecloth that invites the magic of winter to your table in the form of finely stylised snowflakes. The interpretation of the snowflake’s geometry is so rigorous, however, that the tablecloth can also be used during the rest of year, where the white tablecloth elevates the table setting and creates a festive atmosphere.
Use the round tablecloth for Christmas, birthdays and dinners with family and friends – the classic design provides an elegant frame for the table setting on any occasion.
Snefnug is designed by textile artist Jette Nevers, who has created several textile patterns for Georg Jensen Damask. Inspired by the purity and quiet presence of the snowflake, she has created a design whose simplicity and clean expression bring a sense of calm to the table.
We recommend a drop of around 20–25 cm for the most beautiful drape. Complete the table setting with woven napkins in cotton or linen.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C. White damask tablecloths can be washed at 95°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- We recommend that you unfold the product fully before washing it and avoid overfilling the washing machine. The product should be gently stretched after washing and hung to dry.
- For a smoother result, we recommend washing the product on a low spin cycle – max. 600–800 rpm. Then hang the product to dry and iron it while still slightly damp.
