Georg Jensen Damask's elegant Special Edition beach towel and clutch feature the iconic facet pattern, where designer and weaver Jette Nevers has applied the art of jacquard weaving to create an elegant shadow play in the pattern's interlocking triangles. The Special Edition beach towel and clutch highlight the striking geometry of plush velour terry, offset by vertical stripes of sunflower yellow.
The beach towel and clutch are jacquard woven in double-twisted combed cotton for a particularly soft and smooth surface. The sandy shade draws inspiration from timeless sandstone facades and golden beaches.
Vask & pleje
Beach Towel:
- Wash at 60°C.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend that you unfold it completely, soak it in cold water for about 1 hour and wash it at 60°C. This will ensure the loops expand and thus minimise the risk of snagging.
- If a thread begins to pull or snag, simply remove the thread with a pair of scissors. The weave is so tight that it will not unravel, but will hold by itself.
- We recommend tumble drying for soft, fluffy towels. Avoid overfilling the washing machine and tumble dryer to allow the product to move freely and shed excess fibres.
Clutch:
- Wash at 40°C on a gentle cycle.
- The product must be hang-dried.
